Memorial to officer killed at Manx Grand Prix unveiled

A memorial to an Isle of Man police officer has been unveiled.
PC Denis Hamer died while on duty during the Manx Grand Prix in 1976.
He was instantly killed after a rider lost control of their motorbike which struck the officer.
A memorial was revealed at a service at Union Mills Methodist Chapel on Saturday.
A short, moving service was prepared and conducted by Rev. Steve Ingrouille and Rev. Jo Dudley (IOMC Chaplain).
