Motorhome winter storage facilities will not be installed at Noble’s Park.

 

A number of members spoke up in support of the scheme, which was devised to solve the problem of abandoned vehicles in the area.

 

Councillor Schuengel, said while he was behind the project, he now worries the area could ‘devolve into a scrapyard’.

 

Concerns were also raised over planning permission, and the unlikelihood of making a good financial return.

 

Ultimately, the board agreed use of the site should be limited to short-term stays.
