Island to follow latest COVID-19 vaccine advice

The Isle of Man’s COVID vaccination programme will follow the latest advice from the UK’s Joint Commission on Vaccination and Immunisation stating that an additional booster vaccine be offered to those most vulnerable to maintain their protection against severe COVID-19.

This extra dose should be offered no earlier than 24 weeks after their initial booster dose of the vaccine and timings will be confirmed when final guidance is published. This includes:

  1. All residents in an older adults care home
  2. All adults aged 75+
  3. All those aged 12+ who are immunosuppressed
