Road closes for three weeks of tree works

Glen Mooar Road in St John’s will be closed for up to three weeks from today for tree works.
 
Work to remove deadwood and diseased trees is needed to make the road, which runs alongside the Tynwald National Park and Arboretum, safe for motorists and other users.
 
Work will be carried out in phases and not at weekends to maintain access to properties in the area and minimise disruption.
 
Tynwald Mills will remain open throughout and can be accessed via the signed diversions and temporary traffic lights from Poortown Road.
