Visiting restrictions extended at healthcare settings

Manx Care has announced its extending visiting restrictions for a further two weeks.

Visiting was suspended on 30 March 2022 for an initial period of two weeks, but following review it was deemed necessary to extend this for a further two-week period.

This is in place at Noble’s Hospital, Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital and Manannan Court.

Manx Care said: "Despite the slowing and reduction of the R rate, effective reproduction number, the risk of transmission and staff absences due to Covid-19 remains a threat."
