Works continuing on preparing TT course
Wed, 27 Apr 2022
The Department of Infrastructure says work around the roads that turn into the TT Course and Billown Circuit is continuing.
Highways works are undertaking road repairs, line painting and replacing signage.
The bulk of the purely race related preparations are undertaken by contractors on behalf of the Department.
It said: "Following a competitive bidding process the Department has appointed Island Drainage & Groundwork Ltd to undertake a number of tasks including black & white kerb painting, delivery of barriers, signs and cones, and installation of TT specific speed limits.
The black and white kerb painting has already started."
Painting the kerbs on the exit of Ramsey and the Mountain section to Hillberry has been completed.
