Manx Care is making changes to its visiting policy at its hospitals following a fall in coronavirus cases.
Visitors will now be allowed across Noble’s Hospital, Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital and Manannan Court in accordance with the visiting times of the ward. Although prior arrangement of visiting is not required, they do ask that a maximum of two people visit at one time.
Visitors are asked to undertake a LFD one hour prior to visiting, and must wear an IIR Fluid Resistant face mask and wash/gel their hands on arrival.
Manx Care CEO, Teresa Cope, said: ‘We are pleased that these changes can now be made to the visitor policy, as friends and family members can be a great source of support for patients. We will be regularly reviewing the situation to ensure we continue to work to protect our patients, colleagues and our community.’
