Cavendish wins Stage 3 of the Giro d'Italia

Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish out-sprinted the peloton to claim victory in the third stage of the Giro d'Italia in Hungary.

He hit the front with 300-metres to go and held off a number of challengers to take a stage win in the race for the 16th time in his career.

It marks yet more British success at the event, after Simon Yates was victorious in the time trial.
