No 'magic wand' to fix Douglas Promenade issues says council leader

Work to rebuild the damaged Sunken Gardens on Douglas Promenade won’t be completed before TT.
 
That’s the admission from the leader of Douglas Borough Council after criticism was levelled at the state the promenade had been left in – in part due to extensive storm damage last year.
 
Claire Wells says issues have built up during the pandemic but told Local Democracy Reporter Sarah Hendy there is no ‘magic wand’:
