Rider airlifted to hospital with 'non-life threatening' injuries

A bike rider was airlifted to hospital following a crash on the Mountain Road earlier.

Emergency services were called to Keppel Gate between the Creg-ny-Baa and the Bungalow.

Police said the rider came off the road into a nearby field.

The rider suffered non-life threatening injuries to their leg and lower back.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
