Rapist jailed for 11 years

A rapist on the Island has been jailed for 11 years, reports BBC Isle of Man.

Christian Lima was found guilty at a trial of four counts of rape and two counts of indecent assault between 2018 and 2019.

Douglas courthouse heard some of the offences took place while the victim was asleep.

The 24-year-old was placed on the sex offenders' register, and a number of other orders were passed limiting his actions on his release.
