Holden to compete in Tour de France Femmes

Manx cyclist Lizzie Holden is set to compete in the first stage of the inaugural Tour de France Femmes.

The 24-year-old from Douglas will join five others in the Le Col - Wahoo team.

Lizzie will take part following her success at the British national championships where she finished third in the time trial and fourth in the road race.

The tour will take place between July 24th and July 31st.

Holden will also compete for the Team Isle of Man at this year's Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
