Police thank public for help in finding missing man

Police have thanked the public for their help in finding a missing man on the Island.

81-year-old David Lee was reported missing on Friday.

Searches were carried out over the weekend by emergency services and members of the public.

He was located thanks to a member of the public and was near one of the recreational trails in South Barrule.
 
He indicated he had recently walked into that location and that he had been walking around the area for some days.
 
Mr Lee was taken to hospital for treatment.
