Lifeboat callout to rescue paddleboarders

Port Erin Lifeboat were called out on Saturday afternoon after a report of two paddle boarders struggling with the offshore breeze somewhere between Bradda Head and Fleshwick Bay.

Whilst searching, it was established a nearby yacht found the two paddle boarders approximately 1 mile from land.

The lifeboat then made its way to the yacht and transferred the paddle boarders to the lifeboat. 

The lifeboat then made its way back to Port Erin Bay and transferred the paddle boarders to an awaiting ambulance.
