Coastal Footpath Closed in Maughold

A section of the Raad Ny Foillan from Port Mooar to Maughold Head has been closed.

The Department of Infrastructure said the area received substantial damage over the course of last winter and at the time the Department took the stance that it should remain open.

A recent inspection found the condition the condition of the path has worsened and is no longer passable.

Repair work is expected to start soon.
