MGP Crash - Rider was "Conscious and Talking"

A rider who crashed in yesterday afternoon's MGP qualifying session was taken to Nobles Hospital with suspected chest injuries.

Number 18 Peter Boast was riding in the Lightweight Class when he came off the machine on the approach to Union Mills.

Mr Boast's condition was described by organsiers as 'conscious and talking'.
