The Department of Health & Social Care have lost their case to delay further hearings by the employment tribunal next week.
The case centres around the high profile Dr Rosalind Ranson employment tribunal, which lead to many high profile resignations from Government.
Acting for the DHSC, lawyers argued the Tribunal had gone beyoned their powers which Deemster Corlett rejected.
The ruling now means the employment tribunal can recomence next week as planned.
Peter Russell, who was representing Dr Ranson, said the appeal was one that was brought ‘entirely without merit’, was ‘extraordinary and entirely unjustified’ and had ‘simply compounded the distress and anxiety she has had to put up with’.
