Lieutenant Governor pays tribute to Elizabeth II

The Isle of Man's Lieutenant Governor has paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, our Lord of Mann.

The Monarch died peacefully at the age of 96 at Balmoral yesterday afternoon.

In a brief statement, the Queen's representative said: "I know that the Isle of Man shares with me its profound sadness at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Lord of Mann. I shall be sending a message of condolence from the Island to the Royal Family."
