Man airlifted to UK hospital after Ramsey collision

An elderly man has been airlifted to hospital in the UK following a serious collision.
Emergency services were called to Lezayre Road at the junction of Gardners Lane at just before 3pm.
 
Police said a 70-year-old male pedestrian was involved in collision with a vehicle.
 
Witnesses are being urged to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
 
The road remains closed.
