Man left with head injury following assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault.

It happened between 8pm and 9:10pm on Friday in Strang.

A man was seriously assaulted in the area of the bus stop outside Tynwald Terrance.

Officers said the man required hospital treatment for head injuries.

The male offender, believed to be in dark clothing and made off into the Strang Close housing estate.

Detectives are keen to track down the driver of a white Range Rover Evoque that drove past at the time of the incident.
