Consultation session over planned wind farms

A consultation is underway with views wanted on the Morcambe and Morgan Offshore Wind Farms.

The two new wind farms are being developed in the Irish Sea.

A 480 MW capacity wind tourbine scheme by Offshore Wind Limited to be constructed west of Blackpool and south west of Morecambe Bay, and a 1,500 MW scheme by a consortium of EnBW and BP, west of Morecambe Bay.

A consultation event will be held at Douglas Town Hall on Thursday between 3pm and 7pm.
