Excitement is building ahead of the opening of a new flagship leisure development in Braddan next year.
The Roundhouse, a concept by Braddan Parish Commissioners to bring together community, family, friends, fitness and health in one modern facility, is set to open its doors to the public in Autumn 2023.
The name of the building is derived from the striking rotunda located at the front of the building which looks out over the whole site.
The modern leisure and community complex will comprise a café with a children’s soft play area, large multi-use sports hall, yoga and exercise studio, along with a nursery, pharmacy (subject to licencing), dentist, physiotherapy suite, lymphoedema service, beauticians and activity classes for babies and children.
A key attraction will be a striking state-of-the-art modern outdoor inclusive children’s playground, along with an extensive village green incorporating a 500 metre long walking and exercise track as part of two acres of open green space.
Located at the Strang, it will also be the new home to Braddan Parish Commissioners.
