A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping has been issued.
Ronaldsway Met Office said the warning would come into force from 10pm tonight until 2:30pm on Christmas Day.
Forecasters said strong southwest winds will bring seawater and small amounts of debris onto exposed roads/promenades a couple of hours either side of the high tides over the next few days.
The times of the high tides are
Friday 23rd 11:25 pm
Saturday 24th 11:40 am
Sunday 25th 12:12 am
Sunday 25th 12:29pm.
The areas affected will be Shore Road - Bayr ny Carricky, Castletown Promenade, Douglas Promenade (from the War Memorial North). Laxey and Ramsey.
