Mountain Road closed due to flooding

Heavy rain is lashing down on the Isle of Man this morning.
 
The A18 Mountain Road has been closed from Barrule Park to Hillberry (Cronk Ny Mona) due to flooding.
 
Emergency services are also responding to flooding in the following areas:
  • Glen Darragh Road, Glen Vine - CURRENTLY CLOSED
  • Strang Road, Douglas, - Passable with care
  • Mount Rule - Passable with care
  • Greeba, near nurseries - Passable with care
Police are asking drivers to be careful, ensure you use your headlights, stay visible in the rain and drive to the conditions.
