Mountain Road and other routes to remain closed

Only drive if necessary is the message from the Island's police force this morning.

Wintry showers and freezing temperatures overnight have led to a number of road closures.

Police have confirmed the Mountain Road from the Creg ny Baa to Ramsey, the whole of Tholt y Will Road and Main Road in Baldrine will be closed this morning.

The DOI have gritters out and continue to work to try and improve conditions.

Energy FM will have the latest traffic and travel news through the morning.
