Douglas Council has suspended all refuse collections today.

 

The local authority says any bins not emptied today will be emptied tomorrow as long as the road and weather ‘allows’.

 

Recycling is now being collected, but the could be suspended if the conditions worsen.

 

Meanwhile, bin rounds in Port St Mary and Onchan have been cancelled.

 

Port St Mary’s collection will be rescheduled for a later date.
