Witness appeal to Glen Helen collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Glen Helen.

It happened at around 6pm on Monday in the area of Creg Willeys Hill.

Officers recieved reports of multiple RTCs on the hill. Road conditions were poor and the road between Ballig Bridge and Douglas Road Corner, Kirk Michael was subsequently closed.

They spoke with a number of drivers who sustained damage to their vehicles however we did receive reports of a vehicle travelling up the hill that had to do a U-Turn and travel back down. In doing so, the vehicle has collided with a number of vehicles before leaving the area.
