A yellow weather warning has been issued for coastal overtopping.
Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office said fresh to strong south-westerly winds will continue to affect the island during the next two high tides (approximately 1am & 1pm on Friday 24th), leading to minor overtopping of waves with a risk of debris in exposed areas.
There is still a small risk of inner harbour flooding, therefore flood defences should remain deployed for Castletown harbour as a precaution.
Areas likely to be affected include Shore Road Rushen, Castletown Promenade, northern & central parts of Douglas Promenade, Laxey Promenade and Ramsey Promenade.
The warning will be inforce from 11pm tonight until 3pm on Friday.
