Cordon lifted after no potential explosive devices found

Police have confirmed no potential explosive devices were found following a threat yesterday.

Armed officers were sent to QEII School and Peel Castle at just after 4pm following a threat received via email.

A search of the area was undertaken over several hours.

A cordon was lifted in the early hours of this morning.

QEII School is open as normal today.
