Former chief minister Howard Quayle has been appointed as an advisor to the Together UK Foundation.
The pro-union campaign group was set up by the former First Minister of Northern Ireland Arlene Foster.
The group was formed last September and will lobby decision makers, putting forward a positive case for the union of the United Kingdom.
In a tweet, Arlene Foster said: "We got the band back together".
"Delighted that my friends from the BIC - Howard Quayle and John Le Fondré - have both joined the advisory board of the Together UK Foundation.
"[We] look forward to putting forward that positive case for the union together."
