SQR Group Ltd has been awarded certified Identity Services Provider (IDSP) and Attributes Service Provider (ASP) status on the UK Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework (DIATF).
The DIATF was developed by the UK government to create an ecosystem where Digital identities can be trusted by organisations and individuals alike, and used in place of traditional physical ID documents such as passports and driving licences.
Awarded to SQR at its headquarters in the Isle of Man by Dion Allen, Scheme Manager at BSI Group; the renowned certification body which undertook SQR’s comprehensive nine-day audit.
His Excellency, Lieutenant Governor Sir John Lorimer and Lady Lorimer, were also in attendance as they share a “keen interest in innovative technology”.
Shelley Langan-Newton, CEO of SQR Group Ltd said: "We are immensely proud to have received this certification.
“Trust is imperative within the digital ID ecosystem, given the sensitive nature of the data collected, managed and stored, so achieving certification on the Trust Framework was an absolute non-negotiable for us.”
