Witness appeal to crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash on Sunday.

Emergency Services attended a two vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and car in the area of Marown Church on the A1 Peel Road; as a result of the collision the rider of the motorcycle was taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment.

The road was shut for a number of hours to allow for Forensic Collision Investigation to take place.

Officers at the scene spoke to a number of witnesses and are continuing to investigate the matter.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212 quoting investigation reference 97/5587/23.
