Local man, Scott Hoy is abseiling 200ft down the Trafford Plaza tomorrow (September 13) all in aid of Rebecca House.
Hoy has taken on the challenge to raise funds for the charity to highlight the extraordinary help it provides children and families.
The 30 year old who likes to do something for charity once a year, has experienced the support Rebecca House offer via numerous of his close friends.
Rebecca House is a purpose built facility on the Isle of Man, a building that provides respite, palliative and end of life care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions from birth to 18 years.
Care includes short-term respite stays, which may be for weekly sessions or block care depending on the needs of the family which may include care to assist with symptom and pain management or end of life care.
