Nicola Pimbblet and Libby Priest will be competing in the Carriage Driving World Championships this week.
Pimbblet has been named as one of the three competitors to be on the British team while Priest is an individual.
The Manx natives travelled to Haras Du Pin, France on Monday (September 25) to represent Great Britain.
With trot up safely passed, Priest and her horses will do their dressage test today at 2:50pm (BST).
Day one will consist of Dressage and will be judged the same way as a ridden test – paces, obedience, lightness, and impulsion and in pair – working together.
On the second day, competitors drive the three timed sections of the cross-country marathon course. The last 10km stage includes up to eight obstacles, to be negotiated at speed against the clock.
The final day of the three day event is the Cone Driving Competition, which equates to the show jumping phase of a ridden event, testing the skill and competence of the driver and the suppleness and obedience of the animals.
