Members of Ramsey Netball Club have been looking after the environment by undertaking a litter pick in Ramsey.
Beach Buddies lent the team litter pickers so they could productively start their task at hand. The netball players started from their training venue at Ramsey Grammar School and targeted the areas around the school and along Lezayre road.
Ramsey Netball Club secretary said: “As a club we really value the support the local community show us and so we wanted to give something back. It's important for us to do activities as a club as it builds relationships but most importantly we had good fun together whilst making a small difference.”
The club passed on its thanks to Bill Dale, of Beach Buddies, for the loan of equipment and the “invaluable” advice given to help organise the event.
