The airline Loganair is celebrating the carriage of its 400,000th customer through Ronaldsway airport yesterday (October 4).

Customer Anré Walker was the passenger who helped the airline reach the number and was rewarded with a pair of free tickets to use on Loganair’s network and free parking from the Airport.

Walker said: “I couldn't believe I was the milestone passenger - these things never happen to me so I am very excited to use the vouchers I've won for a future trip.

“I choose to fly with Loganair due to their affiliation with other airlines, which allows me to book international travel under one booking.”

Hannah Lo Bao, Commercial Director at Ronaldsway Airport, said: “The Airport is delighted to help celebrate this milestone with Loganair. Since operations resumed after the pandemic, Loganair has continued to grow its services and routes valued by both the business community and leisure customers. We look forward to continuing to work in partnership with Loganair to develop new, sustainable routes.”

The news comes after Loganair last week confirmed twice-daily services between Isle of Man and Manchester, which will operate in November and December this year.

Luke Lovegrove, Chief Commercial Officer at Loganair said: “Loganair's Isle of Man services provide essential high frequency regional connectivity for island residents and visitors alike, providing much needed year-round reliability.”
