The University College Isle of Man (UCM) is holding its annual Open Evening next month on November 16.
The event which will be held at the Homefield Road campus in Douglas is to showcase the wide range of courses the University College offer, and to give those interested an opportunity to speak to lecturers and support staff.
As well as the popular 16+ (Further Education) courses which are suitable for anyone post-GCSE level, UCM’s offers a School Links programme which is suitable for school pupils aged 14 – 16.
Visitors interested in Engineering and Motor Vehicle studies will have access to a guided tour of the William Kennish building, located just next to the Homefield campus which includes world-class equipment and a realistic vehicle workshop.
UCM’s Principal Jesamine Kelly said: “We’re proud to be able to provide such a wide range of subjects, and we regularly add new courses to meet the changing demands of students, industry and adult learners so even if you know all about us we still might surprise you.”
