The applications close next week on October 11 for Tynwald’s Youth Select Committee.
The Youth Select Committee will enable young people across the Island to scrutinise and hold inquiries of topics of interest to them.
The Committee will comprise of 5 members ranging from 15 to 24 years of age.
The Clerk of Tynwald’s Office will recruit the young people onto the Select Committee and arrange an induction and training.
Julia Cullen, Engagement Services Executive, said: “After planning and running the annual Junior Tynwald, it was encouraging to see how passionate young people on the Isle of Man are about the issues they face alongside their peers and the wider community.
“We believe that a Youth Select Committee will provide a platform to equip young people with the skills and opportunities to influence changes on the Island, and a signal to young people that their voices matter.”
