Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners call public meeting to discuss revisions to the Isle of Man Strategic Plan

Arbory and Rushen Parish Commissioners are holding a public meeting to discuss the Cabinet Office’s review of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan.

The meeting will be held at 7pm on October 10 at the Arbory Parish Hall, Ballabeg. Planning officers from the Cabinet Office will also be in attendance to assist with the discussion.

Commissioners’ Chair, Stan Pilling said: “Last month the Commissioners called for the Island’s areas of outstanding natural beauty to receive greater protection as part of the current review of the Strategic Plan with the Commissioners believing that National Park status should be given to these treasured areas of the Manx landscape.

If you have views on that proposal or indeed any other thoughts about development in the Isle of Man the Commissioners would welcome your input.”
