Gena's Dance Academy shine in Paris

Local dance school, Gena’s Dance Academy (GDA) have returned to the Island following a successful haul at Disneyland Paris competing in the International Festival of Dance and Performing Arts (IFPDA) dance competition.

This is the first time the Academy has been placed in every category it has entered and resulted in the entire team from Gena’s to be chosen to lead a Disney parade through the theme park.

The competition hosts schools from all over the world, including: America, Majorca and Cyprus.

GDA thanked Greenlight International for its support and the Academy dance teachers: Gena Walker, Lucy Matthews and Hannah Smith; along with some ‘long suffering parents’.
