Manx Legion raising money for the Poppy Appeal

The Manx Legion will be holding a Quiz Night on November 9 in aid of the Poppy Appeal.   

Last year it raised £1,000 fund as a direct result of the event. This year it is “extremely fortunate” that all costs will be sponsored, meaning that even more money can be donated to the Poppy Appeal.

Since its inception in 1921, the Poppy Appeal has always had a dual purpose – to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and to raise money for those who have been left disadvantaged by their time in Service.

The Manx Legion would be grateful for any donations of raffle prizes ahead of the evening.
