Grant Thornton Isle of Man are launching a Drawing Competition to design a poster that embodies your own perspective on kindness to celebrate World Kindness Day which is November 13.
In a gesture of kindness, for every entry received, Grant Thornton Isle of Man will make a donation to its chosen Charity of the Year for 2023, Wish Upon a Dream.
Local children are invited to participate in a drawing competition that aims to inspire youngsters to visually articulate their understanding of kindness through art.
The competition has four age categories: 5 and under, 6-7 years, 8-9 years, and 10 and above.
Outstanding submissions in each category will receive prizes, with winners in each category also earning a coveted £100 book voucher for their school.
Lyndsay Brew, Audit Director at Grant Thornton Isle of Man said: “World Kindness Day centres around sharing happiness, championing acts of kindness, and contributing to a brighter world.
“We're excited to see this year’s entries and love inspiring children to let their imagination run wild for their posters and have lots of fun in the process!"
To participate, entrants should create posters on A4-sized paper, ensuring they include the words 'World Kindness Day 2023.' Additionally, participants should write their name, contact number, and school on the back of the poster.
Entries can be submitted via one of the following methods:
By hand or by post to the Grant Thornton office at Exchange House (third floor), Athol Street, Douglas, IM1 1JD.
Via email to natalie.kelly@im.gt.com
The deadline for entries is November 17 and judging will take place shortly afterward.
Parents who wish to retain their child's entry should collect them from Grant Thornton's offices before December 23.
