Yasmin Ingham is competing at the 2023 Le Lion d’Angers Young Horse Championships in France aboard Goliath du Loir, also known as Gogo, who is a brother to her World Champion Banzai du Loir.
Ingham was once again selected to represent Great Britain, but this time at the Seven Year Old World Championships, which is Gogo’s first time competing abroad.
Yesterday (October 19) the pair performed their dressage test and scored a 36, leaving them in 26th place after phase one.
Speaking after her test, Yas said: “Some really smart work in his test, just sadly let down by some tense movements which affected some of his marks.
“This is all an amazing experience for him to be exposed to a big atmosphere and very happy with how hard he tried.”
The pair will have a day off competing today (October 20) and will be focusing on tomorrows cross country course, with hopes that it stops raining out in France.
