Police issue warning after increase in scammers

Police have issued a warning after an increase in scammers targeting people on island.

Officers have received a number of reports by victims which has resulted in thousands of pounds being lost.

The force says it's important to reach out and talk about what's happened if scammed. 

Advice includes ignoring a caller that asks you for personal information, such as your PIN, or tells you that your computer has a virus.
