Extensive damage to ambulance following collision at Nobles Hospital

A Manx Care ambulance was left with “extensive damage” to its structure following an incident on October 24.

The vehicle left the road and collided with a tree on South Drive, Noble’s Hospital this week.

There were no injuries to the patient and Manx Care colleagues were attended to by ambulance crews, with what are believed to be minor injuries. The patient and crew were taken to Noble’s Emergency Department.

Currently it is being assessed by the accident investigation team of the Isle of Man Constabulary.
