MHK to question how Seafarers' Charter will be monitored

An MHK will question the Minister for Treasury about the Steam Packet Company in next week's House of Keys sitting.

Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will ask the Minister for Treasury how the recently introduced Seafarers' Charter applies to employment in the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company group; and how compliance with the standards in this charter will be monitored. 

Mr Thomas will also ask whether the Manxman can be used for sailings to Dublin.

The house will sit next Tuesday at 10am.
