Clocks going back cause of broadband issues for MT customers

Manx Telecom says an issue affecting broadband users has been caused by the clocks going back.
 
In a statement, MT said :"Engineers are aware of an issue affecting some broadband users who no longer have an active broadband connection. This has been impacted by the Daylight Savings Time change, and we're working actively to resolve the issue.'
 
Manx Telecom are advising customers follow the steps below to ensure your broadband resumes connectivity as soon as possible.
 
For Fibre customers:
1) Power down your router
2) Power down your ONT
3) Wait for approximately 5-10 minutes
4) Reboot your ONT
5) Reboot your router
 
For Copper customers:
1) Power down your router
2) Wait for approximately 5-10 minutes
3) Reboot your router
