There were several reports of individuals acting in an anti-social manner on Hop Tu Na (October 31).
The Isle of Man Constabulary said: “As we do every year we have a small number of individuals who seem to use Hop Tu Na as a reason to act in an anti-social manner and some that take matters far too far.
“Sadly after the media work, social media posts and education sessions within the schools we still had some poor behaviour.”
The police had reports of fireworks being let off, eggs being thrown and doors being knocked and kicked; none of this limited to a particular area.
The matters were responded to by officers, the constabulary have said those “identified were/will be spoken to dependant on the individual circumstances”.
With the lead up to Bonfire Night (November 5) patrols will be increased, with focus on areas of note over the next few days.
