Chief Minister shows support to those in Channel Islands

The Chief Minister, Alfred Cannan MHK has tweeted a message of support to Jersey and Guernsey following Storm Ciarán.

A red "threat to life" alert was issued by Jersey and Guernsey Met Offices when Storm Ciarán hit the Channel Islands.

The storm forced families from their homes in Jersey following winds of more than 100mph left fallen trees, flooded roads and ripped roofs from homes.

The Chief tweeted that he was sorry to see and read about the impacts, along with letting the Islands know the Isle of Man was there for support if needed.
