Currently the Isle of Man Government have spent just over £500,000 on the proposed onshore windfarm site at Earystane and Scard.
The costs include “initial work" and "staffing costs”.
The Minister for the Department of Infrastructure, Tim Crookall MHK, said that the proposed project will cost in the region of £25 million.
He added that “it should however be noted that the Environmental Impact Assessment may identify additional items which must incorporated into the design, therefore these costs can only be taken as indicative as this stage.”
